EPHEMERAL WIRE MESH ARCHITECTURE

Edoardo Tresoldi recreates classical indoor architecture with wire mesh

We are spoiled by technological advancements and the never ending flow of new devices to entertain us, amaze us and immerse us into new experiences.

Sometimes we forget how impactful a simple idea can be if well executed - with no need of Virtual Reality, Augmented R or Whatever Reality.

We thank Edoardo Tresoldi for reminding us that Analog Reality can be tricked easily, with his installation in Abu Dhabi where he recreated classical architecture buildings using wire mesh. The contrast of material and shapes generate a dream-like scenario where 1:1 scale buildings fill the 7000sqm venue. A soft and transparent touch, merging with greenery and immersing the guests in a newly synthesised ambience.

The project was developed alongside Design Lab Experience.

Technology is fun, but help us bring the magic back offline from time to time.
